Solving browser problem

My notebook's IE browser couldnt open webpages for some days and i had to use opera. Then i tried to find the answer to solve the problem, online. After reading many options and deleting some programs, i still couldnt solve the problem. Then i decided to reset it to the original setting and viola! It works like a newly bought notebook! :) I think a browser should be given option to automatically restore its original setting if it has problem opening webpages and no need for the user to try to pin point the problem for days or ask the IT specialist to diagnos browser problem :(
